CLSD familia,

We hope to count on your support to donate to one, or all of our six Latinx funds for the upcoming "Berkeley Big Give!" on Thursday, March 14, 2024. Consider giving $10-$1,000, or more--any amount you give is greatly appreciated! Your donation will continue to help us keep advocating and serving Chicanx Latinx undergraduate and graduate students at Cal. See below for different ways to give back to Chicanx Latinx students.

Cesar E. Chavez Fund

Conceptualized to honor Cesar E. Chavez and Dolores Huerta — leaders who dedicated their lives to labor, immigrant, and environmental issues — your support of this fund will go towards recognizing and honoring student leaders who are serving their community.

Chicanx Latinx Student Development Office (CLSD)

Support the retention and graduation of Chicanx/Latinx undergraduate and graduate students. Your support will help engage students to become scholars, leaders, and professionals and create a sense of belonging and community engagement across the entire campus.

Latinx Student Resource Center (LSRC)

The LSRC is foundational to creating a sense of comunidad for Latinx students at UC Berkeley. This new space will significantly expand programming and capacity so that more students have access to retention programs, academic support services, wellness opportunities, and leadership programs.

Magdalena Mora Legacy Fund

Program creates opportunities for students to build community and explore history, politics, culture, identity, and other issues impacting the Chicanx/Latinx communities.

Reynaldo Santiago Sanchez Emergency Fund

Your contribution will go towards supporting Cal students who are facing financial crises today, and ensure that they have the resources they need to complete a world-class education at Cal.

The Latinx and the Environment Fund

A comprehensive program designed to generate knowledge and encourage increased study and research on Latinxs and the environment.
