Engagement & Giving
Be part of indigenizing the Berkeley legacy
As a growing office, there are many ways for you to engage and support Native American Student Development. We offer multiple ways for student, alumni and community to be part of our mission and vision.
As we work to sustain and grow our current programming for student support as well as community enrichment, we welcome ideas, volunteers and partners. We recognize that we are part of a larger indigenous community, and seek opportunities to engage outwardly while also seeking community to engage inward with us.
Volunteers: Through out the year, volunteers are needed for events that are sponsored by the office, as well as student sponsored events. We also welcome volunteers to help with programs and office activities.
If you are interested in volunteering for NASD, please fill out the volunteer form on the left, and we'll be in touch!
Community Engagement: Native American Student Development embraces and values the rich and varied resources that our community has to offer. If you or your organization has an idea for collaboration on a program, a request to work with Native youth, or a speciality that you would like to share with our Native students, please fill out the community engagement form.
We especially welcome alumni engagement!
There are several ways that you can give to Native American Student Development!
We accept in-kind donations of time, or resources for our events:
Books and literature for the office, and other materials are accepted, as well as cash donations. To make a donation, please use the giving button on this page.
If you'd like to talk further about giving and how your gifts can specifically support programs, or you'd like to sponsor a new program, please contact us to set up a time to talk!
