Students of Color Leadership Retreat

What is the Students of Color Leadership Retreat?

The Student of Color Leadership Retreat is an opportunity for undergraduate student leaders to engage, dialogue, and focus on important concepts of organizing and change critical to the UC Berkeley community and climate. This 3 day/2 night experience is designed specifically for the needs of students of color involved in activist efforts to improve the climate of their respective communities and creat sustainable change. This retreat will focus on the continued empowerment and capacity building of student leaders around issues of social justice as well as provide safe space for self care, collaboration, and community wellness for those involvement in various movements. Understanding the history of these movements and connections to current student experiences is an important piece of the continued success of students of color doing important work around inclusion on college campuses. We are specifically hoping to support students who identify as students of color actively doing work around climate and change at UC Berkeley.
